Create Incoming Webhook
In Microsoft Teams:
- Open the channel
- Click ⋯ → Connectors
- Search for “Incoming Webhook”
- Click Configure
- Name it “StatusStack”
- Upload logo (optional)
- Copy Webhook URL
Configure in StatusStack
- Settings → Notifications
- Create rule
- Select Microsoft Teams
- Paste webhook URL
- Choose card style
Adaptive Cards
Teams messages use Adaptive Cards with:- Color-coded headers by severity
- Structured data in card format
- Action buttons (view status, acknowledge)
- Inline facts (status, duration, impact)
Best Practices
- Use dedicated channels per Stack or environment
- Configure @ mentions for critical alerts only
- Leverage action buttons for quick responses
- Integrate with Power Automate for workflows
