Connect Hudu or IT Glue once, then provision each client’s documented vendors as a StatusStack stack — without building it by hand.
You’ll need
  • MSP Console access (https://statusstack.com/msp)
  • A Hudu Admin → API key, or an IT Glue Account → API Keys key
  • The Hudu Asset Layouts or IT Glue Flexible Asset Types that list client vendors
MSP-only. Provisioning a new client from an import is billable per client.

What you’ll see

Open ClientsStack Import. Before anything is imported, the table is empty.

Connect

1

Open Integrations

MSP Console → SettingsIntegrations.
2

Choose Hudu or IT Glue

Add an integration. Both providers use type DOCUMENTATION.
3

Enter connection details

Use the tab that matches your documentation tool.
4

Set sync behavior

  • Re-sync on a schedule — on by default
  • Auto-provision confident matches — off by default (leave it off until matches look right)
5

Save

StatusStack tests the API key and starts the first sync.
Read access to companies and those layouts is enough. Stack import does not pull passwords or vault data.

Review and provision

After you connect a provider, go to ClientsStack Import and click Import from documentation platform. Imported rows use columns Client, Provider, Status, Services, New, and Synced.
1

Open a pending import

Click a Pending review row.
2

Confirm the client

Check the client name. An existing client is reused; a new one is billable.
3

Map services

For each documented vendor, pick a StatusStack service. Use Monitor to include or skip it.
4

Provision

Creates the client (if needed), a team, a stack, and monitors for rows with Monitor on.
Confidence ≥ 0.9 is a confident vendor match. Lower scores and AI suggestions always stay in review — they are never auto-provisioned.

Auto-provision

Only if Auto-provision confident matches is on and every vendor in that import matches at ≥ 0.9.
Any vendor below 0.9, any AI suggestion, or a row you already skipped.
Leave it off until you have reviewed a few imports by hand.

After provisioning

The client appears under Clients and on the MSP Dashboard. Monitoring starts for every service with Monitor enabled. Re-sync picks up newly documented vendors for later review.
