Overview

The Billing Overview page in the MSP Console gives you a consolidated view of all clients and their assigned service tiers. From here you can review and update each client’s plan without leaving the MSP Console. Navigate to SettingsBilling Overview in the MSP sidebar.

Client Billing Table

The billing table lists all your client organizations with the following columns:
ColumnDescription
ClientClient organization name
PlanCurrent service tier (Starter, Professional, Enterprise)
Last ActivityMost recent activity timestamp
CreatedWhen the client was onboarded
You can search for clients by name and sort by plan or activity date.

Service Tiers

Each client is assigned a service tier that reflects the level of service they receive from your MSP.
TierTypical Use
StarterSmall businesses, basic monitoring

Service tiers in the Billing Overview are for your internal tracking and client invoicing purposes. StatusStack bills your MSP organization directly — you set your own client-facing pricing.

Billing Considerations

Your MSP Invoice

StatusStack bills your MSP organization based on your overall account agreement. The service tiers in the Billing Overview are for your internal client management — they help you track what level of service each client is on so you can align it with your own invoicing.

Client-Facing Pricing

You set your own prices when billing your clients. Common MSP pricing models include:
  • Per-client flat rate — Fixed monthly fee per client regardless of services
  • Tiered pricing — Different rates for Starter/Professional/Enterprise clients
  • Usage-based — Bill based on number of monitored components or stacks
  • Bundled services — Include StatusStack monitoring as part of a larger MSP service package

Tracking Billing Changes

Tier changes are logged automatically. You can use the Last Activity column to identify clients that haven’t been accessed recently, and the Created date to understand your client tenure distribution.
