Click the StatusStack icon on any tab. The popup shows live status for that hostname, active incidents, and a link to the vendor’s status page. No sign-in. The extension does not use your StatusStack account.
You’ll need Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge. Firefox is not supported. Store listings are not live yet (install URLs are TBD / available soon) — this page does not invent Chrome Web Store or Edge Add-ons links.

What you’ll see

The toolbar popup is a Manifest V3 card for the current tab hostname. Typical states: Each matched popup includes:
  • Service name and hostname
  • Status badge (Operational, Outage, or Maintenance)
  • Incident titles and relative start times, or “No active incidents.”
  • View status page (vendor status page)
  • Report an outage (anonymous)
  • A Checked … ago timestamp

Install

Public Chrome Web Store and Microsoft Edge Add-ons listings are not published yet. When they are, this page will get the official URLs. Until then, treat install as available soon.
Do not install unofficial copies from third-party sites. Only use listings StatusStack publishes for Chrome and Edge.

How it works

Open a site

Go to the vendor or app you want to check.

Click the StatusStack icon

The popup looks up the current tab hostname against StatusStack’s known vendor domains.

Read live status

If the hostname matches, you get the card above — status, incidents, and View status page.

Optionally report an outage

Report an outage is anonymous. It feeds crowdsourced incident detection. It does not create a ticket in your account.
Unmatched hostnames do not get a fake status. The popup offers a request-service link so the domain can be considered for the catalog. Some sites you visit will be unmatched even when a public status page exists.

Limits

The extension does not sign you in and does not show your stacks, monitors, or MSP clients.
Report an outage is a community signal, not a PSA ticket. Ticket open/close is ConnectWise automations in the MSP Console.
Firefox is out of scope. There is no StatusStack account required on either browser.
