# Digital Signage Guide
> Publish StatusStack status boards to OptiSigns, Rise Vision, ScreenCloud, and other digital signage players
## Overview
Digital Signage gives each physical screen its own public URL and its own settings, so you can run a wall of signage players from third-party platforms without sharing a single login or a single share link across every screen. It's a companion to the [TV Dashboard](/guides/tv-dashboard): the TV Dashboard is one authenticated or share-link view for viewing status yourself, while Digital Signage mints an independent, revocable URL per screen for signage software to load.

## Accessing Digital Signage
Navigate to **Monitoring** → **Digital Signage** in the sidebar. This is a separate resource from the TV Dashboard settings page, and it's only visible to users who can manage the organization.

## Creating a Display
Click **New signage display** and configure:
**Screen**
* **Name** — a label to tell this screen apart from others (e.g., "Reception lobby TV")
* **Signage platform** — the vendor driving the screen
* **Enabled** — disabling a display stops its URL from working immediately, without deleting it
**What the screen shows**
* **Stacks** — which Stacks to display; leave empty to show every Stack in the organization
* **Display size** — Normal, Large, or Extra large (pick by viewing distance, not screen size)
* **Show stack headers**, **Show incident ticker**, **24-hour clock**
**Timing**
* **Data refresh** — how often the board polls for new data (10–60 seconds)
* **Page rotation** — how long each page displays before rotating, used when there are more Stacks than fit on one screen
* **Full page reload** — a periodic hard reload that clears anything a long-running player accumulates; leave this on for signage players
**Access**
* **Allowed IP addresses** — an optional allowlist of IP addresses or CIDR ranges (e.g., `203.0.113.0/24`). Leave empty to allow any address. Use your office egress address, not the screen's LAN address.
Creating a display mints a public URL that serves your organization's status data to anyone who holds it, so this page is gated the same way as the TV Dashboard's public share link.

## Supported Platforms
Each display targets one signage platform:

Every platform loads the display's URL as a plain web page in a web view, so setup is mostly the same everywhere: create a website/web-page app or media item in your platform, and paste in the display's URL. Click **Setup** on a display's row for platform-specific steps.

## Managing Displays
From the Digital Signage list, each display's row supports:

| **Setup** | Shows connection instructions for the display's platform |
| **Open** | Opens the display's public URL in a new tab (enabled displays only) |
| **Edit** | Change the screen's settings |
| **Regenerate URL** | Rotates the display's token — the old URL stops working immediately, so you'll need to update the screen in your signage platform |
| **Delete** | Removes the display permanently |
The list also shows each display's platform, how many Stacks it's showing, when it was last seen, and how many times its URL has loaded.

## URLs
Each display gets its own token-based URL:

A JSON feed is also available at the same path for platforms or custom templates that consume data directly rather than rendering a web page:

```
Anyone with a display's URL can view your Stack status. Regenerate the URL if it's compromised, and use the IP allowlist for screens on a known network.
